Where is the venue?
Central Hall, St Mary Street, Southampton, SO14 1NF
Located close to Southampton city centre, Central Hall is easily accessed by car or via public transport. The M3, M27 and A34 roads are all within easy reach, and the central train and coach stations are just a short walk or taxi ride away.
Directions & Parking
From the north: Approach from the A34 (Oxford, Newbury) and take the M3/A33 round Winchester to Southampton. Take the exit marked Southampton Docks (A33) and follow the A33 Docks road into the centre of Southampton. At Charlotte Place roundabout go straight on (second exit into St Andrews Road), and get into the right-hand lane. At the traffic lights turn right (A33) onto Kingsway. Just after the second pelican crossing, turn left into St Mary Street. Central Hall will be on your right.
From the north-east and London: Take the M3 to Southampton. Take the exit marked Southampton Docks (A33) and follow the A33 Docks road into the centre of Southampton. Then proceed as above.
From the east: Leave the M27 at junction 5 and proceed to the city centre. At the second lights get into left-hand lane, and turn left onto Thomas Lewis Way (A335). Continue to the end of the road and turn left onto Bevois Valley Road (still A335). Proceed through one set of traffic lights and follow the road round the left-hand bend. Get into the right-hand lane and turn right. Turn left onto the large roundabout (Charlotte Place), take the first exit (A33), and get into the right-hand lane. Then proceed as above.
From the west: Take the M27 to junction 3, then take the M271 to the roundabout. Take the first exit (A35 eastwards). At the end of Mountbatten Way, get into the right-hand lane (signed Old Waterfront and Docks). Go straight on through the traffic lights (Ibis and Novotel Hotels should be on your left). Proceed along West Quay Road (A3057) to the roundabout, and take the second exit (A33). Pass the Pier and the Isle of Wight ferry terminal on the right-hand side. Get in the left-hand lane and turn left at the lights onto High Street. Turn right onto Bernard Street. At the end of Bernard Street, turn left (A33) onto the one way system. At the fork in the road, continue left onto Evans Street. Immediately get in the right-hand lane. Turn right into St Mary Street. Central Hall will be on your right.
Please note there is strictly no parking available at Central Hall itself.

Car park charges apply in Southampton seven days a week. The city centre has a mix of off-street surface and covered car parks and on-street parking bays. Charges and stay times are clearly displayed on signs within the car parks or on pay-and-display machines.
On-street parking and off-street surface parking is paid for via pay-and-display machines, where you find a parking space then purchase and display a ticket for the time required. Off-street multi-story parking is paid for via pay-on-foot machines, where you find a parking space and pay for the time used on return to the car park. In addition to car parks provided by Southampton City Council, there are also car parks provided by private operators. Stay times and charges will be displayed within the car parks.
Southampton City Council car parks are open 24 hours a day.
Charges apply: Mon-Sat 8am-8pm; Sun 12noon-6pm.
Multi-Storey car parks are open Mon-Sat 8am-midnight, and Sun 12noon-midnight.
Charges apply when open; overnight charges apply from 6pm-midnight.
